Proofing

The printing process is fraught with dangers, proofing is an all important weapon in the fight for that perfect job.

Our hi res digital press matched proofing for colour and content uses the same file that the CTP system requires for the printing press. We always send our proofing through the imposition module for complete safety.

‘On press’ direct wet proofing for our customers, “what you see is what you get” from the same file is often chosen for the simple reason of multiple copies, or proofing on the stock to be used, or to check that a fifth colour has to be seen in all its splendour.

Colour laser proofs in the first instance are available from our Xerox Docucolor.
